New Band To Rival One Direction Is In The Works

Oh dear, One Direction is looking at some serious competition after it was revealed that boy band manufacturer Louis Walsh – who gave the music scene Westlife and Boyzone – is looking to form a band that will rival the success of One Direction.

In statement, Louis said he will be holding auditions next weekend in Dublin.  “It's boys over 16 from anywhere, any nationality but they must be prepared to work hard; vocals are key. I'm looking for five pop stars and I have a major record company and a high profile UK partner.” Louis hinted that the new band will also be mentored by Simon Cowell.
